Ingredients
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger
- 2 cups sugar
- 3/4 cup butter
- 2 eggs
- 1 can (1 lb) pumpkin
Directions
- Grease 2 loaf pans or cover with parchment paper, then preheat oven to 325°F
- Sift flour with all other dry ingredients (optional)
- Beat sugar and butter
- Add eggs to sugar/butter mixture, one at a time
- Beat in pureed pumpkin
- Whisk in flour and other dry ingrients
- Add batter to loaf pans and bake for ~ 1 hour 15 minutes
